Join Forces?

Looks like this will be a dead topic. Myself and someone else seem to be the only people contributing to Techimo's team stats now. I can't get Dnet to change my email addresson file so I can't move my stats to another team either. sucks.

yeah, its dead. It is imagine@apci.net from when i actually had a dialup account. Its been dead since '99. I need ti changed to paul@PaulandEmily.com. I emailed them about a month or so ago and got the automated response, but nothing else.

I'm putting my old slow boxen back with randy on this project by 1800 hrs today {28 Feb}. what few units I did do stay here. Sorry. I don't want to comment about my reasons on timo as mom always said that if you don't have anything nice to say about someone then keep your mounth shut.

Soopa. You should have a CC and a forward of the email I sent to Nugget and the Help group at Dnet. I also spoke with Janacek with Dnet in IRC so hopefully they can get it handled quickly

ermm so how do i use the xpc proxie? and where do i get it.

If you use the :dnetc.ini: file setup that I posted earlier in the "stickys" then you will automatically be using the Team's proxy server which updates every 10 mins! compaired to once every 24 hours for Dnet :)

Well, I haven't heard back from Nugget yet. Still crunching 50% of the Techimo team stats.
I've never used a proxy before, what am I going to have to do to switch over? I am going to email APCI.net tonight and see if they can activate the imagine@apci.net that I use for 24 hours so i can get the password. don't hold your breath though.

I'll try and catch him on IRC tonight since I missed him the other night. But as for using the the XPC proxy you just need to set your clients to use it as it's keyserver.

If you add in the "networking" section to your dnetc.ini file from this post http://www.xtremepccentral.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=23484#post23484 Then your client will use the XPC proxy and you will get much faster updates on status too :)

Humm, that sounds interesting. Looking at the stats, an XPC/
GMTA/Romulus 2 merger would make up a team of 31 people, at todays numbers, a total of 208,047 blocks putting this suggested
team in 58th place over all. BUT, what would it be called?

well, i heard back from APCI.net and got my email account reinstated and got my password as well. Now I just need to switch teams over. I clicked on the Join This Team link on Xtreme PC Central's stats, but it looks like it didn't switch me over. Strange.

It takes until they do the next Dnet stats update. (so tonight at 5pm mountain time)
