There definetly seems to be an improvement vs. the previous version of DX8.0a. I got an increase of about 100 on 3Dmark 2001 and multi-onl-line games actually do run smoother as it says....

I have a 32MB GeForce2 MX, with an AMD T-bird 1.2GHz, and 384MB PC133 RAM, and my score for 3DMark 2001, is only on avg. 1800+ points.

With the d/l of the new DirectX drivers, do u think I'll see a significant improvement? Esp. when running Linux Graphix prog, and Quake 3/Half-Life/Counter Strike etc.??

I know that NDC got a nice improvement running the new DirectX drivers. I will be loading them tonight when I get home and I will be able to tell you how they do on one of my systems that run the Geforce2 MX card

Yeah, I think you should see an improvement, at least a slight increase... I have a buddy who has a Geforce 2 MX 400 who got an improvement...

Well, thanks NDC :)
Just d/l the DirectX drivers u had listed above, and I ran 3DMark2001. I received a 214 point increase, from my previous 1801 to the current 2015. I haven't installed or changed anything on my system, so as to keep it constant. That score is still low compared to other 3DMark2001 scores I've seen on similarly configured systems, oh well...

What version Detonator driver are you running? Have you given 22.50 a try?
