Neo servers came back up and I lost 2386 packets in the transfer!
Then, to add insult to injury, Surreal steamrollered right over me turning me into true roadkill! (LOL)

Ouch :(
Sorry to hear that. I haven't lost any/many packets since I learned not to update the client, I do a clean install when going to a newer version (the registry remembers my settings). I think that was only a prob on one pc I have.
If it makes you feel better I'm down to one node, so you will pass me eventually. That is if you can get your packets to upload :p :D

I seem to have lost a good chunk compaired to my normal output but it looks like the majority of people that dump the around the same amount of units as I do are also short so I guess time will tell

That's nothing, I'm so F'N Pissed right now, I just got home from work, where it really, really, really F'N sucked having to work my ******* a** off because of so many people having to get last minute groceries, then when finding out we're out of stuff, getting all pissed at us because we don't have any. Any ways before I left for work I was just a couple dozen away from 3000 WU's or packets & at least 2-4 hours had passed, I don't know when the servers got back up, but my brother got home from work at about that time & always turns NEO off to play games (it always pisses me off when he does that), but I'm sure I should have had around 3500 at least, well I started NEO up & the packet count hadn't even changed since I left for work around 4 PM!!!
So basically Ive just lost about 3000 to 3500 packets, & here it was I was starting to catch up to surreal, now she's got more than double my count, MAN AM I F'N POed RIGHT NOW!!!
How much longer till the new NEO starts?

even though it's a pain in the butt, i recommend backing up your wu file..

ron popperi says : "set it and forget it! " hehehe :D

Thank's for the advice!!!
I just set NEO to let me select when to connect & send packets, the one that says its recommended for dial-up users.
This way I can back up the WUtemp folder even if I've been away from my PC for several days.

I'm very new at neo...but from what I see..if you have units waiting to be sent..when they do go, the client stops..I had about 5000 queued...and it seems to upload one per second...so it really cut back on my output today..which is day 1 1/2..lol

What's the name of the folder to back-up for NEO, is it the NEO client folder or another? I have one that is labeled "WUtemp", though it maybe for another DC program?

The file to backup is the "offline.dat" file
