lol, yeah I like it to, for now...feels cozy!
But soon enough, when the herd comes...watch OuT!
Mntsnow, thanks for the kind words, I'll do my best to get some more reviews, links, and downloads submitted by Friday of this week. I've been swamped w/SAT's, my website, and work, so there's little time left over for me to post!

Excellent start Jadison!
One thing I did notice is the way you phrased a couple of things such as "Copy of any CD in my inventory" in your pricelist page That will toss up a red flag. I'm sure your not advocating software piracy on the net nor in your business model but that is how it does come across and can possiably increase your chances of a software audit by firms such as the Software Alliance and MS which I can tell you ....YOU DONT WANT THAT! lol
The only other thing that I might mention right off the top of my head is to move to a low cost hosting provider so you can get rid of the pop-ups....People hate pop-up ads. Your banner ad is fine..but pop-ups generally annoy people. and lastly the "pages" are named "site builder" instead of saying YOUR site's name.
Mike
those pop-ups are pretty annoying -
One interesting point - instruction on winME - that's a short class - "People - Avoid it - don't bother - thanks for coming..."
sorry - couldn't help myself - it was there -

thanks for the replies,
Mntsnow, Axel: yes I know the pop-ups are annoying...I'm low on finances right now, but soon enough I'll be able to afford the $4.95/month fee to get rid of the pop-ups and do much more with my site.
Axel: lol, yes I have to agree with you on WinME instruction..."Don't Bother, uninstall the OS!" But I still have to put it there for those unlucky customers that still have it!
I'll be updating the site w/ur changes in mind Mntsnow, as well as those submitted by some co-workers/friends/family.
thanks again for ur input

Thanks Mntsnow,
I've taken a look at the site and what they offer, but for now I'll have to stick to my current provider. I'm only doing this because I don't get enough business to merit a better website. Also, I'm not quite looking to pay $61 up front just yet.
and lastly the "pages" are named "site builder" instead of saying YOUR site's name.
There doesn't seem to be anything I can do about this, yes I noticed this too, right off the bat. I'm not too happy about it!
I'll check up on it again to see if there's anything I can do.

You need to edit the HTML and change the value that is in the between the "title /title" tags which is found right after the opening "head" tag.
example this thread's html shows this page's title as
<title>XtremePcCentral Tech Forums - No ones home?</title>
which is what is found at that top of the browser (for those who may be new to html)

Very nice board you have here. I like the colors, and it seems pretty well organized.
I would have posted more but I installed PostNuke on a free hosting site and have playing around with it.
The one thing I noticed about the web lately is that boards are pretty slow these days. There is not much posting going on. One site that I like to visit is only getting about 4 or 5 new threads a day. Are people losing interest in going to message boards or are they going to the big ones like Anandtech instead?

I feel that the interests have dropped off and the remaining people are mainly visiting the most active boards such as Anandtech and Techimo. But thats fine too. I do this for fun and for advancing my knowledge...but of course if I could make a bundle of cash in the process that would be ok too! (but I dont see that happening! :( lol ;)

Jadison, is this all it cost to get rid of the popups montly? Do they require a pre-paid yearly contract or how does this work?

Sorry, It's been so long, but if you're still interested, go here to get the information about the hosting options Freeservers.com has to offer: http://neotech.8m.net/cgi-bin/show_me?wrap=1&page=hosting_compare.htm
The setup fee is $4.95, and the monthly fee is now $5.95.
