hi I got a question but first why am I asking it.
Today me and my fellow worker at church was using my computer to deal with a video that we need for church.
She installed this program(s) to convert this one file because that is what the tech guy told her to do. Once I got behind her on my computer I was like geez man you can't just click your way through the installs on my computer. You didn't untick all the garbage options and now I got to uninstall them.
She said, im sorry.
To late now so this leads me to my question.
I know that uninstalling programs often leave garbage behind in your registry.
Can i use a restore point like from yesterday to put my laptop back to the state it was in yesterday rather than uninstalling things one by one in the control panel.(provide I save all files I been working on today onto disk)
The package thingy she was told to install, installed 18 different programs and subprograms plus garbage.
So I am wondering if I can restore it but im not sure if I have a restore file point from yesterday and not sure where to find it.
