Ok so i've been working on this idea would it be possable to code an interface so that when u press a botton it releases a latch so something like a car door could open

electric combination car door locks are offered on some high end cars

you mean like key codes, ok let me explain what i was thinking a little better touch screen "door Handle" u touch it and it opens would it work?

You might try a finger print reader

You need to consider a 'Touch Screen' and some type of digital to analog interface. Places like Radio Shack had them years ago in the form of house alarms and home security.
You press the touch screen and somewhere a solenoid reacts. Fully possible, and probably in use many places today. Just hafta find the appropriate interface.....

thanks Yea i been patting around an idea to Build an EV cause i hear gas should reach bout 10 bucks were i live (middle of the Nevada Desert) yea and i was thinking this would be sweet to have have no hassle of a lever just a quick tap of a screen and Shoowsh your door opens
