I can't believe how fast these WU's are, compared to the ones for F@H on Explosive Labs. Look's Like I'm movin up pretty fast too, got 6500 done in about 4-5 days, & still goin strong, put'n me in 10th place for the Team & 327th overall!!! Though I have noticed a bit of a slow down processing WU's, maybe their getting more difficult to process?
I gotta get a new/used vid card for my old system & add it to this DC program, then maybe I'll be kicking some major arse!!!

like i said in a previous post...when the new algorith is implemented in a few weeks wu's will take 1-2 hours on a 1ghz machine. so hurry up and move up, cause its gonna slow way down soon. :)

WU's or the Packets?

WU's & Packets are the same thing in this case - the time it takes to crunch one WU/packet will be quite longer (i.e. 1-2 hrs as stated above) so crunch as many as possible now.

You mean with the new Algorithm's, Right?
Cause, currently aren't the WU's & Packets different, as right now I have over 11,000 units completed & over 7000 Total units completed & 0 queued, if i'm reading it wrong explain this for me.

Shyguy, If your reading it from your individual Neo file what it is as I understand it. Using the numbers you listed I would read it as.
You have 11,000 total completed
and 7,000 of them were done on THAT machine
and 0 waiting to be uploaded.
But checking the official stats I see you have completed a total of 7,973 and they list that you have only one "node" or system.
Can you take a screenshot of what your looking at?

Just for comparison. Here is mine on my main workstation (P4 1.5)
you will see according to stats I have 243,469 total completed units at this time and in my picture it shows roughly that and then it shows how many THIS box has completed which is 15K of the 243K
Hope that answered your question and If I'm wrong someone please explain it so I fully understand it :D

The way I understand it, the Units Completed line is what your machine says it's done, and the Total Units Completed line is what the Neo Server has received. As your queued number goes in to the server, your Total Units Completed number goes up. The difference between the two seems to vary around alot, I don't know why. My differences started at 10, change to 100, dropped to 50, went up to 84, and now sits at 63. Hope this helps!

Shyguy, With what your picture is showing I'm betting you had lost some units from either a server hic-up or a bad registry entry. Did you ever move your Neo client around (ie change folders or so such activity?)

Nope I haven't moved a single folder since Ive gotten my new system, except for some C++ files for school thats it.
Although I do remember the other day while it was uploading packets to the server, it was real slow taking awhile as I had like over 1000, anyways while it was doing that I ran disk cleanup, & also cleared out my internet temp files & cache ( this only took like less than 30 sec), when I was done a few moments later some how the 400 or so packets that were left were uploaded or so I thought, could NEO possibly have stored the queued files in those folders & might I have deleted them by accident? (I usually run disk cleanup like every 2 or so days, as I easily build up 20+megs of temporary internet files every day plus what ever other files Ive downloaded). Or does it store the queued packets in a dedicated folder?
