banner ad shows thru

The drop-down menu on the memory upgrade banner ad shows thru briefly on the pages you surf to.For example,if I click to go to The Lounge from ,say,..Forum Bugs,the menu with the words"choose a system"appears for a few seconds before the page is entirely loaded.I'm using win98 and IE 5.

Sorry but I was gone to the NHRA races and just got home...

Sorry but the problem your having I cant seem to replicate... Also please be aware that the "Choose System" ad at the top of the forum IS coded into all of the forum's pages so it will load very quickly.

Hey lynchmob, try going to MSFT's Update Page (http://www.windowsupdate.com) , and d/l any updates that are listed.

You might want to just d/l the latest vers. of IE, IE6.
Try visiting XtremePcCentral with another browser, such as Opera, Netscape, etc. If the problem still occurs than, the reason might not be ur software/system.
