:D Thanks Mike. They've been going for some good prices on E-Bay! Think I will try and snag one, to be my next build.I think they would be a good replacement for old faithful!!!
:D Well, I won the bid on a SY-K7V Dragon Plus, brand new in box, for 64.00 on E-Bay.It was sent out yesterday.I checked UPS Tracking earlier, and it should be here on Friday!!! Mannnn I can't wait!!! Decisions, decisions, decisions!!! Now I have to start trying to figure out what video card to get for it!! Any suggestions, Guys??? I have figured out I'm sticking an Athlon XP 2100 in her, with a volcano 6 cooler.Still working on the rest!! lol I already went to the Soyo website, and downloaded the bios flash program, and saved it to floppy, and the bios update.I feel like a kid that just got turned loose by his parents in a candy store!!!!!!

Congrats on the "belated x-mas gift to yourself" :) As for a vid card what is going to tbe the primary purpose of your system? Gaming, Graphics work, general websurfin ect
Mike, I'm not a gamer, except freecell once in awhile. She's gonna be on the web, and crunchin Neo, so I really don't need some fancy card, but would like half way decent graphics. What's the verdict?Got any suggestions?

Well since your not a gamer just about any of Geforce MX series cards will do fine or the ATI radieon cards (and no I'm not talking the 9700's series ;))
With your usage there is a ton of cards that will fit your needs. I would suggest atleast a 32meg card and even many 64meg cards are very reasonable in cost nowdays.

For that kind of use, any Geforce MX card at at good price will do yo well, or maybe an ATI Radeon 7500 or such. There are also some great used Matrox cards out there that do awesome 2D.

 Well, it arrived on Friday. It looks sweet!!! Thought I would be smart, and pull out the manual, and study it before I start getting parts, and putting her together.I almost crapped my pants when I pulled the manual out!! It's a dang school book, not an insruction manual!!! The thing comes with a smart card reader which I have no use for, but oh well!!
lol
