Well, I have been working on modding and painting my case for the past 2 weeks. Today we fininished waxing the case and I am still waiting for the other LED's for the other drives.

Looks good noresull, seen most of the pics in the chat room the other week. How did the polishing go?, did it make a big difference? & did you have a clear coat over the black?

Hehehe, don't know if I'd have the guts to pull the faceplate off my burner :(

Polishing went well. as you can see from the last couple of pictures, there is quite an awesome shine! :D I did put a clearcoat on. There is 2 coats of thick, filler primer, 5 coats of gloss black and 3 coats of clear. It was tough getting the parts polished without burning through the paint on the plastic pieces, so there is actually less work into the faceplates.

Biff, the faceplates are easy, I didn't touch the trays though! :)
The faceplates just unclip off, atleast on my drives they do.

Wow that's AWESOME, I downloaded that pic and lightened it up. It took me a few seconds to realize it was the reflection of the cables outside and not a smoked glass cover...lol

Looks really cool bud, but now I'm looking at my case and going hmmmmmm
