Just had my new system built, migrated my GF4ti4200 & 6xDVD over from the old one.
-Aopen AK77-333 KT333 Mobo
Mobo Features: ATA133, built-in 5.1 sound, USB 2.0, dual bios, plenty of OCing options, many other bells & whistles.
-AMD Athlon XP 2200+
-Coolermaster CP5-6J31C CPU Heatsink/Fan (up to XP 2600+)
-512MB DDR333 CAS2.5 (set to CAS2 in bios)
-MSI GF4 Ti-4200 64MB DDR (dual-display)
-Hitachi 6xDVD
-Yamaha 16x10x40 CDRW
-D-Link 10/100 NIC
-D-Link router (have to hook/set that up yet)
-PCI Raid100/ATA100 controller card (RAID 0,1, & 0+1 capable)
-80GB WD ATA100 HD
-WinXP Home
-Antec PLUS 1080AMG - SOHO File Server Case
-Antec 430Watt Power Supply
-3 80mm Antec case fans (spots for 2 more)
-14" Dell (1024x768)
-15" HP (1024x768)
-generic 3.5 floppy
-Cat6 network cables (don't really need them, but figured, what the hell)
-Lexmark Z12 printer (USB)
-2 Saitek P750 gamepads (1 USB, the other USB or gameport)
-1 Interact Axispad gamepad (USB)
-Microsoft Sidewinder Race Wheel set-up (USB)
-Logitech Wingman Digital flight stick (barely works right) (gameport)
-Logitech Optical Mouse (USB)
-Windows compatible keyboard (generic) (PS/2)
-Sony MDR-CD180 headphones
-m125 PalmPilot (actually my dads, but I use it for games on the go)
Currently using my old 2.1 analog speakers (Altec-Lansing), have to see about ordering the SPDIF connector to use my 2.1 Digitals (Boston Acoustics), & the cable modem from the cable company. Also may put the 40GB WD ATA100 drive from old system into new one for more storage, & leave the 30GB WD ATA100 drive in the old system.
After getting it home I updated to the latest nVidia XP drivers, tweaked the system a bit, then downloaded 3D Mark 2001SE, & ran the benchmarks, I'll have to see about posting them soon (as I don't have Adobe Photoshop installed to edit the size of the pics to display them), as my score went from about 7400 on the old system to just over 10,000 on the new one.
& best of all with this new system, is that I no longer have problems with random restarts like in the old system. And this new one is whisper quiet, even with 3 case fans, PS, chipset, GPU & CPU fans. whereas in the old system I had that 120mm Antec fan on it sounding like a vacuum (fan was rated at 105CFM).
