What a good company for Satellite connections Global?
I'm looking at Loral Skynet right now.
What about Intelsat?

looking at them for what specifically?

you'll also want to check out band-width for each -

Is this for www access or sumo wrestling - hehehe

also - are you renting or buying the equipment? does one of the companies offer to rent and later let you buy the equipment? - I'd go with that company simply because if I liked it and planned to be there for a long time - I'd buy the equipment. otherwise you'll keep paying for the equipment for ever and 2 years later you'd have saved a lot of money simply buying it out-right.

this is a subject I have been dealing with for years. I have looked into every type/company out their. direct, starband ect.

you have to really check it out. some limit your useage of upload/downloads. and some will even knock you doen to a power level below a dial-up line.

they tell you a lot of things. but, your best bet it to do a search for all of them !! and pay close attations to the users reviews.

I'm sick of this dial-up or what ever you call it. I have priced them all, talked to their reps. and not one of them could grant me a statement to pay out 8/900.+ for a total package.

I don't mind the cost. I want quality service and no control from them on my useage.

ok, I misunderstood you on this. I thought you wanted a home set-up. I'll check my mailing list database and see if I can find some of the post about the subject on a corp level.

I did a hdd makeover a few back. hopefuly some of them are still there. could you send me your location. if I don't have the links?? maybe I could send a mail to one of my network admin buddies in that area.

30 grand a month:eek:

I thought DirecWay was bad.

I would imagine with a low demand they could charge just about anything they want.
