Ok - here is the ? - I have an Acer 4406 external cdrw - and the software for it says - w98 or better - I also have a version of nero which says it will run on win95 with usb support.

My system is a old P2 - 350 and runs win95 with the usb 1.0 supplement on it.

so based on what I have - and the need to run the cdrw under win95 at least for the moment - can I use the nero to run the external drive.

Confused -

I may give it a try on a machine I have at home first before going ahead here!

C

Just to make sure, what is the exact version of Nero that you have?

I checked their site to verify 2 things:

Yes, it supports Win95. (http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1002822593674)

Yes, it supports the Acer 4406U External USB CD-RW. (http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1002822593674)

So, if that's ur burner then go ahead and install Nero. ;)

Thank you - Nero 5 - just got a little driver issue to work out - looks like a zipper file from acer and an unistall of the original file and stick the new one in!

Thanks for the info - C :)
