Making DVD's intp windows media files?

Anybody know if it is possible? I want to get a scene of a BMW Film. I want to have it on my computer. CAn anybody help me do this?

well you would have to decode into divx then to a mpeg or such i believe..

i did that once for a school project,taking a scene out of rocky! :)
