I've had this question asked to me many times, and the truth is, it's not as simple as it was with XP.
However, there is an easy way to do it, you've just got to know how...
Click on 'Start' and type 'netplwiz' you will be presented with a window. Uncheck the "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer' box, then click 'Apply'.
The default logon should be highlighted, but if you have more than one, select the one you would like to logon with and enter the password for this account twice. If your account doesn't have a password, leave it blank.
Click OK twice to back out.
Job done!
