Well,
I've used these forums for quite awhile whenever I needed developer-related help (i.e. programming: PHP, Python, etc), check out the forum homepage HERE (http://forums.devshed.com/index.php?s=) and then use the forum dedicated to Python HERE (http://forums.devshed.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=11). I highly suggest you check them out for any technical assistance you may need with Python.

And of course, here's the Python documentation: click here. (http://www.python.org/doc/)

The python.org site has some great docs on it, and links to a pile more. That should be enough to get you started.
