RB6 - Raven Shield

Just downloaded the demo to this game and have to say it's pretty realistic. I haven't been able to do as well as I'd like to due to poor graphx card specs (32MB GeForce2 MX400 OC'ed) and lack of experience but I've managed to win a few rounds.

I like the graphics and the sound effects put you right in the game ( I can only imagine it'd be better if I had a 4.1 or 5.1 speaker system ). As for the gameplay, I'm beginning to be more tolerant of realistic gameplay: by this I mean movement is more fluid and lifelike, guns have the appropriate recoil and feel, and interaction with other objects and tools is actual. I admit I miss the days of Quake and CS where you could run and jump to your hearts desire and have perfect aim while shooting because there was little or no recoil...but we've all grown out of this (atleast we should) and in turn demand a more realistic gaming experience. The next best thing is true virtual reality.

I have to say this would be a game I'd be interested in paying for...the game and its menus don't diverge too much from those of previous FPS, graphx and sound are great, and again the realism becomes attractive the more you play.

This multiplayer demo contains two playable levels: PRISON and CITY STREET LARGE. The available modes are SURVIVAL and TEAM SURVIVAL.
