Nice marketing hype, M$, but some of us still recall the win95 fiasco and aren't holding our breath waiting for Vista launch. :o

OH COME ON!!!
A Windows Product Break? What the Hell are you talking about...:bunny:
LOL, but seriously...
last night I had a stupid error with XP... got sick of the damned error message & clicked it to send it, only to have windows open up its error summary crap...
all I did was uninstall Nero 7 trial, & restart windows... & there was some sort of Device driver error, that windows could not recover from, & was suggested to reboot after making the report...
basically there was no known solution & no known cause to the problem, then at the bottom it has that stupid "survey"... "was this information Helpful?", with 3 answers, none of which applied to the situation, Yes, No & Somewhat... OK, so windows has an error, reports it, (not to mention has no known cause or solution), so why even show me the crap & have me make a response to it? if there's nothing useful for the end user to see, why show it?
but LOL, the techs who get that reply are going to be reading a lot of F-Bombs in that response
Pointing out the stupidity of "is this info useful" question & displaying me info, that provides absolutely no useful info to me... that I don't want to see the crap... not to mention, by asking such a stupid question after such an incident, it only makes Microsoft & its techs look even more incompetent than people already think of them... wish I had a copy of the reply :D
