I am getting really po'd at this freaking IIS crap on my .net server.
I don't klnow if it's from the .net server or the visual studio.net, but if I create a web page, then use IIS to to publish it, it gets locked and I can't access it with any editor. I can't rename the files, I can edit the files. The only thing I can do is copy the data then stop and delete the web page from IIS, then I can create a new web page from my edited stuff. If I try to remove read only protection from the web page...it divorces the web page from it's folder/image components, and then the folder/images suddenly are wiped clean...gone, not even in the recycle bin.
What gives? I've tried pretty much setting all kinds of access on the directory from both IIS and NTFS.
I'm about to rebuild this darn thing back to W2K!
