Skeletal remains

Redeemer weapon (demo version)
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "user.ini" file in the "system" folder in the game directory. Add the following line:

Z=set XWeapons.Rocketlauncher FireModeClass class'XWeapons.RedeemerFire' | set XWeapons.RedeemerFire AmmoClass Class'XWeapons.RocketAmmo'
While playing a game, press Z, then shoot the rocket launcher to fire Redeemer ammunition from it.

Also in the demo there's a way of modifying the config to get the weapon effect of the satelite weapon thingy too, if I can find it I'll post it, Ive managed to get both the satelite ion thingy & the redeemer to work, also with the redeemer cheat once youve chosen to use it in game you will always use the redeemer no matter what until you start a new round, so be careful on how & where you'll use it.

I just went back to infogrames forums for UT2K3 to look for the cheat, I decided its better if everyone looks for it themselves there's so many posts on how to do it, I can't remember which is the right way, & I don't want people flaming me or something cause it doesn't work right or something.

Oh, wait I know what I can do, I'll copy what I typed in the ini file & post it, then I can explain how to show them in the game!!!

Also for those that want to run the Benchmark utility that's included with the demo, travel to your System folder and run Benchmark.exe. Select the resolution from the little box that's displayed and let it do its thing!

Note: When running the benchmark utility do not move the mouse or press any keys, doing so will produce inaccurate results.

Also you will have higher frame rates in the benchmark than you will in the actual game. So if you play the game & don't get as smooth a frame rate as you did in the benchmark don't be alarmed there probably isn't anything wrong with the game or your set-up, I think the benchmark is there just to see if your system can handle the basics of the game.
Almost forgot, to show your frame rate in game, bring up the console and type "stat fps" without the quotes of course & hit enter.

I don't remember exactly how to activate the ion effect, but I think it had to do with pressing the key that you assigned before selecting the weapon or something, damn I wish I caould remember how to do it. I'll try the game again & see if I get it to work & report back.

Also I found that the speech menu doesn't work right in the demo either so you have to go into the user.ini file and replace the command for the speech menu, i think the default key is v, with this command, SpeechMenuToggle, exactly like that so it reads V=SpeechMenuToggle. Make sure to save your changes.

As Jadison pointed out, Make Sure You Make A Back-up Of Your Existing USER.INI File!!!, before making any changes to it!!!!

I just tried the cheats again, and all it does is show the ion effect nothing else, no damage to the enemies, with my config if I press the key "I" it displays the ion cannon satelite looking thing anywhere in the level, depending on where you are, if I press "O" it shows the ion effect, I haven't been able to get the ion painter to work though.

Also with the redeemer you can select whether you want the guided or unguided version, in my user.ini above it shows that I have both versions bound to 2 different keys, you have to hit one or the other before you pick-up or select the rocket launcher in order for it to work.

Use the unguided one the most, sure with the guided version you can guide it in on your target, but that leaves your character unprotected while your flying the missile. Also when you use the secondary key it will just fire regular rockets, so effectively you have 2 weapons in one, in off-line mode type "allammo" for 999 round of ammo for all weapons, this way you can nuke everyone as much as you want.

Console cheats:
God= God mode
Loaded= All weapons
AllAmmo= 999 rounds of ammo
Fly= Fly mode
Walk= turns off fly mode (make sure your not too high when you do this or make sure you have god mode on)
Ghost= Noclip mode
Stat FPS= Shows Frames Per Second
Summon_X= Summons whatever you type in for X , weapons ammo, items, etc.

Do any of those cheats work online, online like for a home based lan? I want to use my old system along with my new one to play games against my brother, & it'd be cool to use those codes or at least some of them against him, what he doesn't know WILL hurt him,hehehe!!!

I edited my last post to answer your question, sorry about not putting that there earlier.

They're specified for Single Player mode only.

Well, you could always try it and see if it works. :)

All the cheats work under the DEMO version of the game btw.

You mean in the online or multiplayer lan part of the game right?
And I already knew that all those cheats worked in the demo, cause I'd seen them before, but didn't know whether they were online or offline cheats, thanks for letting me know though!!!
