Hey guys, just wondering, lately I've been making Avatars & stuff with Image Ready, only took me a half hour to figure it out, but one thing I'd like to do is, get the Animated GIF file down to a respectable size for sites like XPC & hCw, & others that limit the Dimensions & File size considerably even if its hosted off site...
is there some way to save or export all the frames of a vid clip to Photoshop, & then save all the frames at lower image quality, & import them back into Image ready & re-animate the clip again? I would imagine that would lower the File size Considerably?
Dimensions size I already know how to change, easily done with in image ready, but the image/picture quality needs to be lowered to make the file size smaller?
what steps & things do I need to take to do this?
TIA :)
Oh here's what I slapped together last night for my Brother since he's a Gundam Fan...
Its one of the Intros to Gundam Seed...

(oh & I made it with like every 3 or 4 frames instead of every frame)
The full sized 480 by something or other dimensions is just under 7MB's
so I shrunk it down small enough to be used on hCw, but still too big for XPC or any similar site, but size is down to like 394K I think?
Another one I slapped together for one of the guys on my former clan site...
had to use Jetaudio players converter feature to convert the original clip from WMV to MPEG1, Then open it in Image Ready...

But turned out nice, not too bad for the file size either, only 400+K... our site over there doesn't have as low a limit as other sites, so we can use slightly larger, LOL avatars especially if their hosted off site...
