I was just curious, has anyone here, ever overclocked one of these babies? I was really wondering if they will handle it.

I know a few who were able to eek out a little bit in O/C'ng the k62-500's but not much.

I have gotten as much as 560MHz out of it {5.0x@112FSB}, but was told you can use the 2x multiplier as a 6x multiplier on some boards to get 600MHz out of it {6.0x@100FSB}.
If you have any FSB settings between 100 and 112 you could try the 5.5x multiplier settings with them.

edit: BTW, those 500's can run a little hot so if you have to boost the voltage MAKE SURE you have a good heatsink/fan.

I've only been able to squeeze an extra 50 out of them. They dont have a good rep for OCing.
