I'm going to set up 2000 server after halloween, I got a personal min-spookfest dump in eccp then and I don't trust moving the DP list to cd-r/floppy as just my luck I would lose all my points.
Anyhow. I'm running 2000 pro now as our file/lan game sever. I like to get set up like the big boys. as in having it as a lan game/ file/data server and to host my own web site about me and what I do, with a link to some software downloads on my Hdds. {lol UT maps and stuff}
I have a faint idear what a data server is, could I have linkage or/and someone explane it. and how to set it up please.
Here's what we're running as of today:

ECS - D6VAA dualie with onboard ide raid, with P-III 850E's 1 gig PC133 crucial dual 40 gig ATA100/7200 rpm western digitals 48x cd drive and a LS120 super disk, {plus the regualr Fdd} as our server.{not running raid yet}

Kids machine #1 runs 2000 pro

Kids machine #2 runs 98 {for older games}

My personal box runs OEM`98 {hehe The gamers OS of choice}

Lap top runs OEM 98/98 lite/`95 upgrade depending on my mood and what/where I'm using the machine for. {lan use via docking station}

Guest machine #1 runs OEM 98.

Guest machine #2 runs OEM 95 with usb support.

Linux`drake box is version 8.2 and I'm not worryed about that being hooked up to the server, it's a stand alone box for my use.

I use a SMC router with prt server and a netgear hubs, 3Com and netgear nic's.

1.5/256 adsl.

Advice? Tips? Hints?

Thanks all
