Sound Cards

:confused: Guys I need some of your input again!!! I have pcchips m599lmr.It has the onboard sound card which I have gotten bored with, and want to upgrade to something better. I was looking at the Creative SB-Live 5.1.Does anyone have any experience with this card, or know anything about it?Any input would be helpful in my decision making process!!!!

its your standard basic run of the mill sound card...ive had it in a few computers I built. works well, is stable and should allow you to keep your hair ;)

I think your better option is one of the Hercules 7.1 sound cards...they have extra circuits for some useful things like routing all low frequencies to the sub ( as opposed to just dedicated center bass ) plus extra surround channels.

The best part is the price is very reasonable...around $50-$60.
