LCD display...WOW

I just hooked up my wifes new NEC LCD1700v monitor and all I can say is WOW.

This thing has an excelent picture. Crisp clear images and vivid colors. Im extremely jealous and have spent a little extra time sitting over there setting things up so I could play with it. It ammazing how much less space it takes up compared to her old 19" monitor. She was looking at an 18.1" NEC but that was $200 more and only 1 " bigger.

Congrats. They are great. I have an 18.1" and use a 21" crt at work. I don't notice much difference in size. The colors and refresh are amazing on the LCD.

With the native screen resolution being larger you get a lot of desk area. Its a lot easoer on the eyes also. If anyone is shopping for a nice LCD this NEC is highly recommended from me.

...and I'm about to post a 18.1" for sale which would be a good buy :D
