What about your ISP? I dont know of an ISP that doesnt give you some webspace. Some might not allow you to "hotlink" it but all will allow you to post a url to it :)

The taskbar is set to autohide, I popped it up and activated the quicklaunch extension. Imagine all those icons all over the desktop blocking that wonderful artwork.

Can't hide my previous Trekkie'ness...I used to watch Star Trek: TNG all the time from their debut in '87 to their grand finale in '94. :D Was a sad day that last show...:( , but there's always the re-runs.
BTW, Voyager was pretty good...better than Deep Space Nine, the classic Star Trek, and even this Andromeda crap they have airing on TV now. :rolleyes: I miss Gene Roddenberry, his daughter Majel just doesn't have it. :(

I'm sure if you compress the image...you'll be able to make it fit. We allow an image to be no more than 0.5MB...I'm sure you can use Photoshop or another image editor to shrink it to that size.

What's the resolution of this file? It's certainly not a desktop size. As Jadison suggested, use an image editor and decrease the size of the image as well as the DPI to about 100 since having resolution set higher than 92 won't have any effect on monitors, just print outs...

Thanks for asking me to add the link to your database. I will be currently working on puting up the specs on my athlon xp 2000+ on the site. I will be doing this because there is absolutely no over-clocking been done to this machine. Don't know, it could be a benchmark since it is all factory...When I get this accomplished I will link up...

My resources usually stay above 70%, depending on what I have running.

I keep all my program icons on the quicklaunch bar to keep everything neat on the desktop.

I always liked space-related backgrounds, even if they're computer generated.

1.2GHz T-bird, 128MB PC 133 RAM, 41GB 7200 RPM IBM Deathstar 60xp, Windows 98SE, the most stable OS I found from microsoft, after Windows 2k of course, or Lycoris Linux(when I feel like booting into it), those are but a few of the apps that run at the same time on my system. ALl of them are UD, Anti Virus, Ez-CD Creator, ZA, WinPoet for my DSL, etc, etc, etc :), system runs fine, and takes a very short time to boot. Probably 35 seconds for it to get done.
