A 15 inch IBM monitor {Aptiva maybe?} was given to me. I was told it goes to sleep on it's own all the time??
Model: 2122
Serial: 2363540
Part #: 12J6531
FCC ID#: JVP7134E
Vintage 1998

and it had this on the tag also: FRU 02K2350

According to IBM's web site the monitors that just have just the IBM logo on them are most likly to be Apitva ones.
I tryed this on 2 machines and nothing. it powers up {steady green pwr light} but it don't light up the screen. it's like it is not getting the signal from the v/card. if you shut the box off the green light goes soft yellow just like my NEC's do, thats when there is no video signal present. I know my v/cards are good as I using one of those boxes to type this and the other one is sitting next to me online downloading UT map paks.
should I just toss her into the bin?
Thanks

It might be worth the couple of bucks to have an electronic's shop check it out but with it being a 15" I personally would probably just trash it

The most common problem is the video cable goes bad. So, if you can coax a shop to hand over an old cable maybe you can get it working.

I wouldn't invest a lot of money in it.
