I have been fightin with a USB corded cam - an AVT alphacam explorer version -
When I plug in the cam it recognizes the cam - and goes to load software - and almost gets it finished loading softare - The most puzzling message I get is this little thing about - win2k saying that the machine is not usb enabled - now I checked in the bios - enabled - I checked at the system device side and have root usb loaded and via bridges loaded - but it still gives me a usb fail - and the cam is not loaded - and fails -
sys specs - ibm 300GL running a P3- 667 - 128 megs mem, w2k a preloaded version. and since I don't have a disk! - it is left to trying to figure this out without friggin with it too much.
Thanks - Centurion
