Which drivers are you running for your vid card? Also know that the vidcard benchmarks by 3Dmark are usually low for ATI products but if you are compairing "apples to apples" meaning the other systems are exactly like yours then the first place to start looking to gain performace would be the newest drivers for your card.

driver 5.13.1.3286
date-10/26/2001
i will look at the ati site and see if there are new drivers.(proably is)
i will download this and see what happens.
thanks for the help
EDIT: i updated drivers and now my score is 5169.
thanks again.

Another factor that comes into play with the 3Dmark programs that alot of people forget is what settings your system using when your running the benchmarks, for example the resolution, color depth, whether your using max AA (anti-aliasing)or even if its on, etc. try running in a basic res like 1024x768x16 or 32 with AA off if its selectable & see what you get for a score also use the latest drivers for your card.
LOL I get about 2000 with my Radeon 32mb SDR (from before they introduced the numbering system, I think its about equivalent to a 72xx)
No amount of driver updates will help me there, I need to upgrade.

Nukes, that's approximately a radeon 7000, my 8500 gets over 8000 (haven't Oc'd the card) but I've had it over 9000 3dmarks, beats the pants off a radeon 9000Pro :D (that one scores about 7500 I think)
