View Full Version : Image Display Problem from Server

Here's an Odd one, I think.

I am running a personal site on W2K AdvServer, and seems to be serving just fine. I can see my site, and images in a certain folder, and others can too.

Now, just this morning, I added a couple of images to the site image folder, and posted them to this board. Others can see these images, however, I cannot! I get a red X placeholder.

I see (or rather DON"T see) this on two separate machines here - the server and the other box, W2K Pro...

Do you see the above images?

I do not! Why not?

Obviously I gotta get this fixed....

I see both of them just fine.. One is a B&B bottle and the other is the MS Runner.

I have a feeling this problem is related to your ISP. Give it some time and try later

I have "Show pictures" check in IE Tools / Advanced..

I still don't understand why i can see the older pics and stuff that I config'd up yesterday, but cannot see the new images i added today.

Interesting.......Hey...Maybe you been working to hard on getting this server up and running and your mind is playing tricks on ya ;)

hehe :) or maybe the guy with a username and password to your server moved the files around while you weren't looking :D

maybe it's because that is her very own bottle of B & B and it is no longer full ;)

Actually, Edwelly, that's the bottle I had to take away from NDC because he was on the way to dorking up this thread (http://www.xtremepccentral.com/vbforums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1935) real bad.
