Well - nonsequtor and I just got juried into the

Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council

in the Jewelry section

under Metals and Stone

---------------------------------------------

And the Best part of this weekend was a large Fine arts conference was here in the city - We had a chance to meet up with Micheal Lyman of "SOFA" fame.

Donald Friedlich - past president of SNAG - Kind of neat having him review our portfolio and give us some hints at hitting a home run.

Suffice to say - we are bouncing off the ceiling right now -

Looking forward to spring[May] - when we set up our studio at a historical village up here.

My finger nails are all ground off due to the cabbing wheel!

Cheers! - Centurion

Congratulations Centurion!

The village wouldnt be Chester, would it? Hearing of Nova Scotia brings me back. I used to go up there as a child, and would fish for flounder, sail a bluenose, and build forts to my hearts content, all summer long. Ahhh, that was the life!

Sorry if I'm OT, just makes me nostalgic. :) Congratulations again!

StandrdDev - well - Nova Scotia is where we went to get juried -[We have done many Xmas craft shows down there]
- Fredericton NB was where the Conference was held -

But - We had been doing Markets at St Andrews NB - an old fishing area - boats sitting at the docks - some feeding [salmon farming ] barges also.

And yes flounder! and shrimp meat on a single line

Last summer we traveled to Parsboro NS and from there over to Amethyst Cove NS- almost ran out to Cape Split!

I wanted to buy some land down there - just to spend some quiet days away from the bunch!

those small places are even quieter than home!

I know what you mean - sweetie and I spent a day last summer on the beach at Joggins - A world Heritage site - and picked fossils off the beach! Just like kids many years ago.

Met a disable US marine [Vietnam] and his sweetie from down Boston way - they traveled in the spring of each year and didn't have a clue what they were looking for - niether did we - but had a ball doing it!
