I went to the PC show this morning and bought a 512 stick of PC2700 and a 2.0a GHz P4.
I booted it all up...checked temps, let it sit a while, then set the CPU host bus to 133 MHz. It booted fine, I let it sit some more, then I set the ram to 333 MHz and rebooted.
I decided to install XP and after the EULA screen, I got a page fault in a non-paged area BSOD. So I set the mem speed lower to 266 and tried again...not it won't get past the verifying DMI events screen.
I must have bum memory. I'm going to sub in my PC2100 and see if the problems go away.
