My question is, when watching movies across the network (Approx 700MB avi) when almost any movie gets to an intense spot, IE full screen explosions, large battle shots, etc, the movie lags or stutters both video and sound.
All movies are in divx format with divx player up to the latest and greatest, also media player 10. Now before anyone stops on the divxing of DVD's, I own all movies that I divx, I only divx them so that honestly the kids, and wife can watch them on there pc's. Also the "streaming" of these videos is only a windows fileshare not a streaming server. So my question is that would upgrading to a wireless g get ride of this hicuping? I ask because streaming over the LAN I do not get the hicups, or is this a wireless problem since wireless was really ment for small files or bursts of files?
Or are there any tricks I can do on the current wireless settings.

Thank you,

Anthony
