Slow wireless lan

My pc's are running on a bt voyager 2100-a8

the wired pc that is connected to the router downloads at the usual rate of about 115 kbs and the one im on now is downloading at 11kbs. It went 100+ when it was in the other room. But the software is telling me that it has an excellent signal?!?!

help im stumped.

I also got a tv right next to the pc if that would do anything

Could you clarify what the problem issue is? What wireless are you using? 100+ for a wireless card? What are you talking about? Signal or link?

sorry i mean kbs download speeds

It seems to have sorted itself now and is going faster than when it was wired?!?! it downloads around 160kbs steady now
