I use a DLink DCM-201 using the ethernet configuration (though I have the same issue when I use the USB config. as well). I have found that when ever I leave a BitTorrent or a P2P client running for a while, the connection will drop. I know for a fact that it is the modem because it won't let me access the internet until I have refreshed the whole thing (unplug, wait 30 seconds, plug back in and wait for Windows to detect IP and DNS settings).
Does anyone know why this happens or if there is any way I can fix this? I know it's not the setting that lets the computer turn off my Ethernet card in order to save power, I checked that already.
:EDIT: Issue resolved... It's amazing what you can get away with when you lie to these companies!!!!;)
