Hey y'all, welcome to another daily update on all things FaDtastic - Not too bad a day overall, 1.2 million points uploaded, 780 thousand molecules tested, and 45 thousand hits :D

We have a new member folks...

You know, when one is watching the stats everyday of the week/year etc, it is so very very easy to miss certain things. For example, just how far along this team has come in terms of members and output, it only seems like Smokin joined us yesterday, yet he just gained a years worth of crunching, our lovable little alien has just crunched her way through 100 thousand molecules.
Looking down the list, especially the lower ranks, the output that some of you are doing is incredible, and it's the consistant 2 or 3 thousand points that come in every single day that helps make this team to be what it is - Number one in my eyes :D

With that said, hats of to those of us that plough huge amounts of money/commitment into the project and can sustain the level of output that they do, the time and devotion that WoZ has put into the auto stats database center, the FaD information pages that DannyChuckle is working on (Can't wait to see the finished thing btw), the fantastic contests/loto's that have been put on by Roadtech, the work that goes on behind the scenes by our Mods (and fellow crunchers), then of course there are the die hards like Plum Ugly who puts out more in a day than most of us do in a week.

The most important thing though is that together we make one heck of a team :D

Thats about it for me, tired myself out wrapping up all the girls pressies tonight, got no room under the tree now...

New printer and memory card arrived this morning, so I've been taking snaps of just about anything today and putting the camera and printer through it's paces - very impressed so far, we can even put the memory card straight into the printer and print them from there, I'll get a pic of our crimbo tree together and post it some time tomorrow...

Whew, waffle a plenty there, time for bed now...

Congrats to the movers, ( me too - sorry Gohan, :D ), dumpers, stoners and players!

I had long runners on both mine and Da Boss's machine finish - hers counted, mine rejected! Rats! I'll give it a while, and see if it goes up with the next job!

I had a good days working, albeit a long one, left the house at 8am, got back about 17:30, back to work @18:00 home again @ about 02:30! Still, I got the next week off! :D

Oh, and one last bit of news;

I finally succumbed to the pressure applied by one of the hospitals I have been working on agency at, and agreed to join their staff! So, I can now add Operating Theatre Manager to the list of names people call me! Still part time though, only 2 days a week! :D

Well, I just got off the phone from talking to one of my cousins back in MN, and hopefully he'll be joining us here shortly. :D

Looks like i'm getting a new PSU for my HP Vectra for Christmas :)and i'll finally be able to close the case, which will hopefully lower the noise level to the point that i won't have to wake up at 6 AM to shut off the computer for in case my Mom will decide to wake me up:rolleyes:.

I hope i'll be able to get another box running by tomorow, and its the one with the opened-up PSU:eek:

Merry Christmas to the XPC Fad Team from the DEL family.

We have all gathered in Winnipeg for the holiday. Last night - it was minus 35 celcius - which for our american neighbours is about minus 35 farenheit. Nasty weather but the warmth of the family makes it bareable.

Now that I can get face to face with the rest of the DEL clan (62 in total) I should be able to recruit a few more to the team.

Well, Ive lost 500Mhz of crunching power, I disconnected the little HP Pavillion, & Put a Nice red Bow on it, so tonight (Friday) I'm giving it away to my Bro & his wife, They probably won't hook it up & stuff for a few days at least, but I'll see if they'll let it run most of time & see if he'll let me run FaD on it? If not, Oh well, I'll have to get the P3 800 running then, & the P3 850 in the EPC C10 running too if possible. But I guess we're having Christmas tonight at their place, since his Wife wants to have Xmas at her Mom's with her family on Xmas, like every year :rolleyes: (apparently her family is more important in most cases when it comes to holidays, we usually have to celebrate Xmas the day before or after or several weeks after because of her, Oh well at least I don't have to live with her, feel sorry for my bro though, but oh well).

The one nice thing will be seeing how happy my Nieces are, after they see the Barbies, Hotwheels playset, Slot car set, PC games, marionette type puppet, i got them... Not as much as last year, but enough!!!:D Oh yeah also a miniature "Executive" table top Foosball table for soemthing for all them to play when bored!!!:D

Yea, thats true, but oh well, at least we get to celebrate it together.

it was so cool to see the looks on my nieces faces when they saw the Slot car set & teh Hotwheels stunt track thing, They love their barbies but they also really love race cars & racing (one of Daddy's favorite things to watch, NASCAR), & their fave movie (car movie, anyways) is Fast & The Furious 1 & 2, LOL!!! & they were really happy when they saw the Finding Nemo PC game & the Barbie Spy something or other PC game. But I could tell my bro was really thankful for the better faster PC, not only is it faster, but its got 3 times more HD space. Next week I got to go over there & swap teh CD Burner out of teh old one & into the Pavillion, also take the one 64MB stick out of teh old Emachine & pop that in place of the 32MB stick in teh Pavillion to bring it to 128MB total. & told him when I get my 80GB Barracuda RMA'd I'll transfer some files off the 13.5GB HD & pop that 13.5GB in there too for more storage. So there are upgrades for it over the next month or so.

But by Monday I'll be losing the 1.3GHz of Crunch power from the T-bird, My bro's friend has the Money for it, so thats Bye Bye, I'll finish up what i can on that, But will have to export & import the left over jobs on to the main rig. But I'll have $170 in my pocket for upgrades to main rig (can't decide, Mobo or CPU, probably CPU, but then again I have to decide whether I'm going with 754 or 939?).

well i lost my internet connection last night yet again...about 10 minutes after i posted in the friday stats thread. well at least it was up again this morning. i uess i should be grateful for small favors, huh?...things are pretty screwed up when you're supposed to be grateful that service is only half-down!

Yeah, the oldest is 6 now, & the youngest is 3, Plus they have a 3rd on way that should pop out any day in the next week or two. but that'll make my bro real happy, as its supposed to be a boy!!!:D Yep 98SE on it. Apparently he already called this morning asking for the password for it, trying to hook it up, as it was on my network, I told him just hit cancel & it'll start up. I told him call me sometime this week when he's got time to have me come over & hook it all up & get him connected to net, also so I can swap CDROM for CD burner & swap RAM with it, but he couldn't wait, he's got 3Mb cable & with the temptation of having a HD with 3 times more storage (10GB ATA66 from 3.2GB ATA33) I think he wants to DL some of his pr0n!!:D But just wait till I add the 13.5GB HD & teh CD burner, LOL!!!:D

Still gotta find a nice 32MB or 64MB PCI card for it, so he & the girls can play some decent 3d games.
