I know I am a stupid person for doing this..

I bought this import DVD from animepop here in dallas. I have a PS2 that I watch them on.. and my brother keeps taking it.. claiming he needs to entertain his guests even when there is none over.

I was watching episode 4 of dvd 1 so I could finish it and go on to disc 2.. he comes in destracts me in the middle of the plot by saying gimmie the ps2 so i can entertain my guests and I just ignore him. He keeps on doing the same thing and I calmly get up and BANG MY FIST on the ps2 which in turn put a scratch on the DVD. Episodes 1 2 and 3 work great but 4 skips alot now.

The ps2 now has disc read errors which my brother will have to deal with. I will fix it as it just needs a new dvd hub.

Is there any kit to remove this little scratch on disc? I know game master will fix it with some fluid and a buffer on a drill but its like 5 bucks but this import series is expensive and I don't care.

I think you awnsered your own question thronks. Id go the buffing route like you said. Ive tried other things, and they dont work as well. Got this kit "ALLSOP disk repair kit" and it didnt do anything. Good luck.

Buffing is the only way to even have a good chance of saving a deeply scratched disk.

I use an off-white liquid that comes in a small bottle-like thing. They sell it at Hastings, but I'm not sure what its called.

you need a career to fund your own place of residence - then you can experience an all new set of problems....... Don't suppose you have the option to tell bro "NO" "MINE" - perhaps if you did like some animals and pee on the PS-2 to mark it as yours - hehehe - I'm sure that wouldn't scratch the DVD - but it might render the unit less than serviceable in the process.... - but at least then he'd stop borrowing it..... hey - we didn't ever say all of our solutions were practical around here, did we?

I posted about these "eleswhere"---pretty cool exactly for this purpose---get yourself a small pak for those disc's you need to keep in tip-top shape :-)

Its a protective "skin" you snap on to protect that important irreplaceable disc---(Best Buy etc under a buck each)
