Hey y'all, welcome to the weekend :D

Not a bad days crunching; 1.2 million points uploaded, 700 thousand molecules tested, and 50 thousand hits recorded :D

Great set of results coming in across the board, nice dumps, and a few rank changes too :)

Started the holidays off well, once I got up yesterday, I proceded to do absolutely nothing :) Had a few beers and watched tv. Today has started off pretty much the same, slept in until 11am, now after posting these, I might stick my feet up and watch some more tv. It might have been a good idea to go food shopping today, but seeing as it's the last saturday before Christmas, it would be a bun fight and I get stressed out at the best of times food shopping. I've had a stressful week, I don't need anymore :)

typing this back on my new wireless keyboard, I spilt a full glass of coke on it and thought that would be it for it, but I took the batteries out quickly and ran it under the tap for a minute or two to wash away the coke, left it to dry out, and it still works a treat :D

Well the Vets office called last night to say that pixie's ashes are in. I need to go pick them up today. I don't want to. I know as soon as I hit the door the family will stop baking cookies and have a nice cry.
If we hadn't kept one of her puppies she had last May I would go buy Rea a new one to ease the pain............Hell may still go buy a puppy........... :bunny:

I do have a dog, I inherited my Mom's. It is a cute thing. Its' suffered a lot of abandonment, so everytime I leave it gives me the No, don't leave! look. Everytime I come home, it is like I've been gone a month.

g'day all.

looking thru the stats we continue to get consistent participation from a lot of members #61 and up. this is a most encouraging sign because it means that both the recent/new members and the older vets are continuing to crunch. akinsey, arlene, cbuddha are just some of these veterans...that makes me happy. :)

well, i got into a bit of an accident yesterday. i put a big gash on my thumb opening a box of backup tapes. Grrrr!...makes it hard to grip anything with force.

i had plans to try to finish the shelving in the basement to get everything organized and up off the floor (occasional water leaks/flooding in the basement) but i may have to shelve it (pun intended! :) ) this week. couldn't have come at the worst time since the next two saturdays are xmas & new years which means a lengthy delay perhaps.

i'll be continuing to try to get all my apps installed to the new p4 box from last week. have a lot of software to install and i need to find all my install cds, etc.

Kev, regarding how to get more participation...you may want to hold off on doing the next contest til mid january. around holiday time, people tend to spend less time in front of their PC's and having a giveaway right after the last one means little time has elapsed for significantly more members to have visited the board, ie. your 'contestant' base won't have increased much.

At this point, it looks like a good week for me! :D

Added another 2400+ belonging to a friend/customer yesterday and it's already cranking out some nice work. (To bad he won't be running it 24x7. :( )

Got permission ta' pick up the 1.1GHz Celery (Retail) on Monday for $40. That'll allow me to upgrade the PIII650 to a OC of 1.32 hopefully. :bunny: That will keep me on track to retire some more boxes on the 31st. :rolleyes:

Well, we had an amazing night, all provided by reps, and orthopods. Littlun was overnighting at nannies, Eldest was our chauffeur for the night!

Chinese food of every nature that just kept on appearing, wine flowing like water, disco and dancing etc! I can remember catching a nurse falling off a table just before we left, sometime this morning!:D

I had arranged for someone to start off for me, at work this morning, probably just as well! I awoke about 9:15, got to work about 11!:eek:
