on Win2Kpro, my kids computers I have FAD installed on my 8 year olds girls(two of them) computers and when the boot up they offend close it out because they think it's not supposed to be there. :( I try and tell them to just click the hide but it never seems to happen. So when booting up is there a way to set it up to just goto the tray without putting anything up that can be closed out?

Yep, sure is. If it's a standalone setup, just open control panel and untick "show tray icon" in options tab. When you next restart FAD it'll have no tray icon. ;)

If it's a client on a queue server, then the same setting on the queue server will do the trick, but you do have to restart FAD on the queue server, though.

Hope this helps. Kids can be a mite annoying, sometimes, eh? :P

Oh, I just realised you meant the graphics window as well. In control panel, set both graphics and server to hidden in the general tab. It will only open in the tray then, unless you turn that off as I said above. :)

OK got it set up so it doesn't show at all. I've had it that way when I first started but I couldn't remember how anymore.
