Mornin', afternoon, or evening folks, great days crunching again, 1.3 million points uploaded, 650 thousand molecules checked, and 57 thousand hits reported :D

Some great mini battles going on in the playing field, and some great rank moves, along with some very impressive dumps :)

The countdown is on for me, just 1 more 12 hour shift to go, and thats it until the new year - I can't wait WOOT! WOOT!

Not a lot I can think of waffling on about really, I'm very tired and can't think straight.

So what do you think about these politically correct groups who want to ban Christmas? They also want to stop schools doing nativity plays, and ban Santa etc, just incase it offends someone who is not Christian...

Majority rules I'm afraid, why should <1% of the population stop >99% from seeing Santa in thier local mall, just because they don't want to see it.

I personally think they should all be put in a field and bombed :bunny: What do YOU think??

Right then, thats 25dvd cases sorted out, 2 HDD's, 3 packs of 25 cd-r media, and a 9800Pro VC packed up for clients.

Half way through printing out 300 flyers for a buddy. Haven't even started printing out the invites for Emilys b'day yet :eek:

Got 40 cards to write out, a CD to send to Australia, a phone number to find and instructions to get there for another buddy. Car needs petrol, tires need air, spare work clothes need ironing for tonight...

Mornin (afternoon/evenin) I've just woken up after 14hrs asleep! Haven't done that for a while!

I just got a delivery of a Sempron 3000+ and some other parts for it (gonna be a remote for a friend), but ebuyer's website's got a couple of bugs and showed the deliver by date wrongly. I missed some of the stuff being delivered yesterday and can't get through to the delivery people! Goin back to Leeds tomorrow so there's a chance I'm not gonna be able to get the stuff before New Year now!

Just checked - they've delivered the CPU, RAM, HD, CDRW and the case. There must be another delivery due but I'm goin back to Leeds for Christmas tonight :rolleyes: They've also delivered a 2nd case that I haven't ordered... (cheap £15 one - no PSU) guess that's my Christmas present from them :D

Some have even tried to push for name changes to get Christ out of Christmas. But consider this... 20 years ago, this country had so much for religious freedom than it does now, in the sense of Christianity. There are many who feel persecuted now, because of all this going on. The hard truth is, that, 20 years from now it will be like it is now in comparison to right now in comparison to 20 years ago. This country, and possibly the whole world, will be that much more against Christianity and Christians. Many will lose their lives for standing up for what they believe in. Even I will be censored (not necessarily on here LOL) but in everyday life. My expression of faith will be banned because it might offend someone. If you don't stand up for what you believe in, people will walk all over you, regardless of what you believe. We all make our own choices, but keep guard not to give up what you believe for the sake of others. One day, anything that has ANYTHING to do with Christ, religion, or anything that the <1% doesn't agree with, will be gone, and penalties will be given to those who violate the new codes or "standards" imposed. The U.S. Constitution will, Dec. of Ind. etc, will be "modified" if you will for the sake of the <1% who find it "wrong." It's nothing anyone can change from happening. We just have to be fervent in our beliefs and keep them in our hearts, where NO ONE can take them away. They can take away my rights, but they can't take what I believe in. I may lose my life, but I won't lose my faith.

About 2 years ago in one of the close by towns there city emblem had the fish symbol for Christianity on it and 1 person complained and took it to court and the city had to remove the Symbol . That 1 person of about 10,000 people.:(

i got home yesterday and found that my broadband was working. hurray i said to myself. then i decided to call the cable company to cancel my sat appointment but the lady advised that i wait until friday in case something happens.

lo and behold...after about 30 min i lost my connection. drat! :( :mad:

Yes CC is right. We live in Maryland which is a great state. Until you get in or around the city. There is so much crime and drugs. I see this as a direct cause of removing religion from basic family vaules. There have been several fatherless generations.
Because of this the children are on a slippery slope to nowhere. And people who want to remove religion from all that they say will offend a few. Will make this worse. Now this is just a very small part of the problem with removing Christianity from our lives. Or most any religion as far as that goes.
I find it insulting that some would want to remove Christ from Christmas. It doesn't make sense. The whole reason for the holiday is the celabrate his birth.
Now I could go on and on but I won't and don't even get me started on gay marriage.

my new case side window just looks sweeeet!!! I took out the tri-color LED fan out of teh P3 rig I was putting together & installed it in the window, for some more color... LOOKS GREAT, I'll put one of my spare regular antec case fans in the p3 rig.

It was funny last night, out youngest dog is only 2 1/2 & she always likes to jump into mine or my parents beds to sleep, last night she was just amazed at the cool light patterns cast on the wall & ceiling last night, she'd just stare up at it for an hour or so, apparently she can pick up the slightest flicker from lights & stuff. She chases shadows on teh ground I can barely see, funniest thing to do is use a laserpointer & watch her chase the damn thing, one time she just about ran up a tree after it once, LOL:D!!!!

Anyways, some quick surfing around, then take shower & get ready for work, as its also payday, Yaaaaaa Hoooooo!!!!!! Got soem stuff gotta buy, one thing is a new Monitor my bro before he comes back from air force on the 22nd, so he can get online & play some friends & stuff.

Rea, i'm not so sure that you can blame crime, drugs, and i'll add the overall decline of 'civility' of people in general to the lack or shift away from religion. there is no one major cause of many of today's societal ills...it's a whole bunch of issues and probably deserves its own thread in the lounge (most logical place).

well i got a house to clean so away i go......oh, gotta get my numbers in too. :)

Dagnabbit! I thought the stats were gonna be down, so I have some machines that I disconnected from the "Net. Not as many as I thought, though ( pulled the wrong plug :) ). Did the plans change on Keith's part? I though the stats servers weren't going to be collecting/accepting results for up to 72 hours.

My AMD duallie has stuck a problem - seems I mustn't have done the XP to MP mod right, as it says it has non-SMP CPU's in there. :rolleyes: Out with the acetone and try again, it seems. :P

Still haven't got win old win queue server running again. I think it's a HDD issue, but it checks fine. It'll boot from CD and floppy; just won't load and boot windoze properly. It loads it (even formatted the drive again), but when it goes to go to first boot it blanks screens still. RAM checks fine. Huh? :dontknow: Oh well, I'll keep at it.
