XPC Review: Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW.....1st installment

Well I had to get something up about the Gigabyte board as there is not a single one done on this new board in the USA! I will be doing updates as I start to tweak and play with it as last night I finished installing XP pro instead of 2K pro as I will be running XP on that system for it's greater support for the DV software and hardware I will be using. More benchmarks and continuing thoughts will be added in the future as I'm also waiting to get some indepth details from Gigabyte on this board.

Good review....let us know how the extended useage stability works out. I am in the process of debating wether to go AMD for a new SMP rig or just go balls out with a single P4. You know I like SMP rigs best...but performance is performance and my Epox/P3 dualee is getting kind of old and has a hard time keeping pace with new software.

Yeah, although I was a bit hesitant to build an AMD SMP rig at the beginning, now I'm very happy I did!!!! :)
