So how was your day?

Me...no news here, I'm just doing homework and listening to The Eagles. Working on some plans to climb up the cruncher scale a few steps :), and thinking of how to design a tasteful looking website.

Strictly speaking I should probably get this moved into the Lounge, But since you asked for it here, let's make it a cruncher's daily diary, eh? :D

Today my herd kept chewing those mollies even though I'm at work. At least, I'm pretty sure they do. They do every other day I come to work, without fail. :cool:

So, because I know they are working away at finding cures and stuff, I'm happy today! :)

btw, right now i happen to be listening to an unreleased demo of billy idol's 'Blue Highway'. man this song has got some wicked bass and my Klipsch's are really making the walls shake...and only have the vloume set to 15% of max! :)

Well My day was a bit different? I managed to get a invite for Gmail, so i registered for that, now that makes 1350MB of storage for my Email, Hotmail, Yahoo, & Gmail.

I also finally joined my Bros Squad/Clan for Joint Operations, they made me a Full-time Member with out having to go thru the 30 day trainee period, just because of my Bro, so that was cool, & one of the guys over there on their forums was thinking about having Him, Me & one or two others be Mods Only for the Tech section of the forums (as us 4 seem to know more about PC's & stuff than some of the others), so that'd be cool, but he's still gotta talk to a couple of people over there first.

Now its off to do last minute checking on my email & stuff & off to bed to get some sleep before work at 5AM!!!

Never did get around to working on the P3... No Big surprise there, LOL!!!

I am at school trying to finish up work before finals next week. I got a C in my application problem solving class that deals with programming. With limited math skills I consider it ok. I got 5 more assignments that should bring my grade up to a B

As far a gmail invites go, I have two left. But I am only giving them to people who need them. Namely students who need bigger space and a higher upload space for files to teachers.
I need proof you are in that position.

this morning i woke up to 1.5" of new snow...FINALLY!

not a snow person if i can't play or ski on it! IOW, if i have to shovel it to clear the sidewalk and driveway, i don't like it. that goes double if i have to trudge thru it to get to work! :P

i used to luv the winters. nowadays, i think i'm becoming more of a summer guy...more daylight hrs, comfortable outside temps, don't have to wear a coat or jacket, and it sure makes for better girl-watching! :banger:

I never liked RPGs like WorldCraft. I did like .Hack//Infection but there are never games like that anymore.

Let me ask you this, on a laptop with a Radeon, it plays Quake3 ok but would new drivers help?

Not sure about that? & I think you mean Warcraft, WorldCraft was the 3D app used to make levels in Half-Life & other Quake 2 based games!!!


As for my day (today anyways), well being I couldn't spend money on getting a "new" back up mobo ( Thronka's Epox mobo), I went out & spent my money on a new XMod RC car, got the Nissan 350Z model, & the body kit add-ons (Ground effects & stuff), so gonna spend the evening putting that thing together & see how it runs in the basement.

I'll have to post a Pic of it when I get it done tonight!!!

Next paycheck (unless I got extra cash from this one), I'm getting the headlight/taillight kit, Underbody lighting kit, Drifting tire package, Stage 2 motor upgrade kit, AWD upgrade kit, & maybe the suspension upgrade kit. If its not too much, either that or I'll buy my bro the C5 Corvette one for Xmas, not sure yet?

Heheh. I'm with ya there, PJ. Been where I'm at for over 21 years and have .33 hours of sick leave! Let me see I get 104 hours a year, round off my time to 21 years, 21 x 104 is 2184. 1% would be 21.84.

So, I have 1.5% of 1% of the sick leave I've earned.

Sad, ain't it? Let's hope I don't get really ill!

Huh, I got 10 hours paid Holiday (time & a half pay, so effectively 15 hours) & 24.03 Hours of vacation pay at my one job, plus 26.09 vacation hours at my other job :P

Then at beginning of year (my yearly anniversary at job #1), I get an additional 10 or 13 hours Paid Holiday. But gonna have to use some of those hours next week since Mom & dad are going to texas to see my bro at his graduation... & I need to take care of house & pets, so I asked off from the 8th thru the 10th at one of my jobs. But thats fine since I have one more pay week before Xmas, & can use the extra money!:D

It was okay, until i went to read about some M$ IE exploits and wasn't careful with the ActiveX, ended up getting a truckload of spyware, then went to get AdAware, but it didn't work, went and got Spybot, after a few freezes it worked, all clear now :)
