View Full Version : brother - this thing is sllllooooowwwww
man - I don't think the tweaks are worth it - this forum is soooo slowwwww - and I'm attached on a T-1 through a 100BaseT connection - if I went dial-up, I'd still be waiting for the first thread to load.....

The only unusual thing I noticed so far is when I added this forum to my favorites, it put the thread subject in the title
XtremePcCentral Tech Forums -brother- this thing is...

So you dont like having it say the title of the thread when you bookmark a specific thread?
I thought it would help keep them straight so you could reference them in your fav list.... Maybe I could put a limit on the title of a thread to help?

just added the new avatar:D
Hey, I added the smiley and my cursor jumped to the begining of my line.
Is it me, or memorex:eek:
Darn, did it again.
I will try another post with IE this time.
Currently using the opera still.
Oh yeah, what I was going to add was when I setup the avatar, it did not automaitcally turn it on, my profile still had no avatar selected.
Small thing, but you wanted to know about errors, right?
Nice place you have here

Slowed down my Av for you  and Yes my curser moves to the start of the line when I click to add a smile but I can live with that at this time.
As for your Av "not taking" did you hit the submit button? I just did the change of my av with Opera and it did update correctly

Seems much better:D
Thanks, I was starting to get sick, and my eyes were bugging...
When I added my avatar, I did not manually check the YES option to use a customer avatar.
But at some other sites, when I add a customer one, it changes to yes automatically.
Im anal, what els can I say

Ok...Thanks for letting me know that it truly wasnt a "bug" :)
What I did for my Av was strip out a few duplicate frames and then reset the animation speed from 4 frames a sec to just 2 frames a sec.
