what are you all useing for yours ect.
even tho I have bought and used most of them out there. I still tend to use the one that came with my camera.
I'm in the process of upgradeing my camera to a newer one "kodak" and it dose come with it's own software. I tend to find that the manf. software just dosen't cut it sometimes. and it dose leave or lack some of my needs ect !!
What I use with my digital camera is a FUJI FlashPath 3.5" FDD adapter (http://www.smartdisk.com/Flashpath.html) or I just import the photos straight from the camera to the system using TWAIN in Photoshop 6.

Mine is a Polaroid that is a couple of years old. I haven't been able to get it to work with other software, but the program that came with it works good enough that I don't worry about it.

For photoediting I use Photoshop but truthfully for the most part I use PhotoImpact by Ulead.

I use Corel Photo House 5 and Paint Shop Pro. They both work well for graphics editing and transfers.
Gene C.: which camera were you looking @ buying? I have my eye on the Kodak DX3500 Digital Camera: 2.2Megapix, 3x dig.zoom, 8MB mem, USB.

I use drag & drop directly from the camera. Kodak uses a mounter so that the camera shows up like a hard drive in my computer.
For editing (ususally resize/crop/rotate) I uses ACDSEE's enhance feature, but for serious editing the wife's photoshop abilities take over :)
Needless to say in linux there is no gui and I get the pics with command line, works great (USB) and does the job just as well.
