It was funny to a point, but if that was me, I would have lost it (patience), & done something, like tell him where to go or what ever, but first & foremost would have never given him the car to test drive no matter what.

My cousin took a "test drive" like that years ago in a Monte Carlo SS.
He went in to the dealership by himself though, and they let him take the car out alone. His buddies were waiting around the corner, and piled in when he pulled up.
He had the car for about an hour. :D
Man...I'd follow that guy home and burn his car up for pulling that.
