Yep I lucked out and got a Sony DRU-120A DVD+R/+RW drive! Time to learn how to do backups of my DVD movies but it's going to be so nice to be able to do data backups to 4.7 gig blocks instead of 700mb!

Quite a nice father's day gift...hope my soon-to-be-wife get's me those kinds of gifts ;)

BTW, you feel that drive will win out on the compatibility wars?
(You know, the one between DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW)

I don't even have a girlfriend (damn, did I say that out loud?)

But, if (and I say IF) I ever meet that special woman out there and we get married, I hope she'll get me cool gifts like Mike's wife does. :)

Thats great! Just had my birthday and my g'friend is getting me the ATI-9700 when it becomes available..
