In the house currently
Win98se
WinMe
Win2K pro
Win2k Advanced Server
WinXP
Have dual booted my Win9se box with Mandrake 8 but wiped linux and loaded the XP up ...Need to break backdown and build a dedicated Linux box..Then I would have to learn it instead of booting into what I already somewhat know ;)

used me for 10 min...that count?
:D
For all my systems at home, I'm running Windows 2000 Professional Edition... Win2k/NT is definetly the best OS from Microsoft in my opnion. I can't stand MS OS's that use Win9x kernel!

I ran ME for about 4 months, as my server at home a while back.
Acctually, I never had a problem with it, other than no sound on my cheap PC chips board.
BUT, I blew it away and ran Win2K pro for like 8 months.
ME had to be rebooted once a month, but win2K, I think I rebooted once.
Just changed up PC's around the house, so I have to get win2KAS loaded:eek:
Not sure if I really need that, but I want to play:rolleyes:
I also need to start getting ready for my MCSE tests.
Oh, yeah, the topic
I have used PC's going all the way back to the Atari 2600 (I think that was it)
Still cant program anything, but I like to play games:D

I've been running Win ME for over a year. The only thing is that I am not happy that MS is not putting out service packs for it like they did Win 2k and 98. If MS supported this os with updates like a second edition in the case of Win 98, I'd keep right on using it for years. This os isn't as bad as some people say.

Like most others I've collected a few. I've pretty well settled for Win98SE. At least til I upgrade my equipment. :D

Main PC has WinME,Win2000 Adv Server, XP preview. Mostly use ME(I know should use 2000 more). Have a PC with Solaris7(haven't done much with). At one time or another have had Netware 4.1 installed and Redhat Linux. Someday plan on installing on a server Netware5, RH Linux7 and Solaris8

Win2K is indeed the best MS OS to day!
Wife's system runs it and looks good to me, I have unix-ize it a bit so that I can work on it as well :)
I grew up with unix so I still use the darn thing. RH7.1 on my two home systems + the server. I dual boot to FreeBSD trying to make the switch from linux someday as it's sweet but I have to take time to recompile all my software :(
I have used all versions of Windows since 3.1 Really the 9x kernel was embarassingly unstable, and Me made things worse (personally I didn't like the fact that it wouldn't let me copy from my Digital camera but not to and this digital controll is what makes me reluctant with XP).

I have used (and still have copies) of everything from DOS 5 and Windows 3.1 to XP.
Just scrubbed everything and loaded up XP on my SCSI based system last night. I must say that my boot-up time has dropped a lot. :)

I've used Windows from 3.11-Win2k/Me
Currently, I'm using WinMe...I'm not content.:o
I've also used the following versions of Linux: Linux Mandrake 8, Red Hat Linux 7.x, and WinLinux 2000 (boots up in Windows).
My main box is dual-booted w/Linux Mandrake 8.0 and WinMe.
I'm now debating on whether or not I should change OS to Win2k, or WinXP. Any suggestions that anyone has, please post 'em.
