Sective Start up

Another little problem has occured with my Windows ME instalation, every time i boot up i get a Dialog box appear with the heading (System Configuration Utilty) and a message saying
( You are using the selective stat up for trouble Shooting )

Could any one tell me what it is and how i can turn it off?

Usually comes up after rebooting when you've done an msconfig from the run command.

Should be check box there when it comes up. You should be able to check the box for it to go away.

Yep, easy. just type msconfig in the run box in the start menu, and untick Selective startup. :)

Yes there is a check box, but will that just stop the message appearing or will it turn off the selective start up?

It will turn off selective startup. If you want to select what you start, use the other tabs to untick or add what yiou want, and leave the front tab as "normal startup"
