question about teams,usernames, computer ids, and points

What, exactly, is the correct procedure for changing teams. I've only had to worry about one email, one username, and one computer, so I've not actually lived the horror stories.

How, exactly, do the points "attach"(couldn't think of a better word) themselves to usernames and emails?

There's about 10 sub-questions I could attach here, but since I'm ignorant of the process, some would be unnecessarily redundant.

Changed my mind, I've added a question: What happens if you change an email and/or username on a computer that's already submitted work?

They attach to Email Address's only, That is why you get "strays" if you enter the wrong Email address, UserNames are determined now by the latest installation, so to change your Name, just change it on your latest install, or install a new isntance with the same Email and different name.
