Ok checked with the speed tests on Broadband reports, tried one Speakeasy server from here (minnesota) to CA, tried a Megapath server same thing here to CA, the speakeasy told me my DL speed is about a little over 500Kb, Megapath said its a little over 363Kb, I tried 2 of the local servers, one in Minneapolis (100+ Mi away), says my DL speed is 2.6Mb, & one in St. Cloud (50+ mi away), & say my speed is 1.3Mb, so Ive got varying extreme's in my DL speeds, I'm supposed to have a 3Mb connection. This would explain why I got such a problem with loading certain web pages lately, takes for ever sometimes. The other day I powered down my Modem & reset the PC's & stuff & that cleared part of it up, but now its just as bad as before? I don't have much problems when I'm playing online, but its just when I'm surfing the web mainly? Any suggestions as to whats wrong? could be some poor cabling (bad insulating or something) but being the cable guy put in all new cables when we moved in a month ago I don't think its that? May have to call cable company & have them check to make sure the signal is good enough to teh house maybe or something?
